Campus Parking Update For Game vs. Duquesne

Youngstown State football fans who are coming to campus on Thursday should be aware of new parking lot designations and a main road closing that could affect some on gameday. The Penguins take on Duquesne on Thursday night at 7:30 p.m. at Stambaugh Stadium.

All YSU parking lots have had number changes and Lincoln Avenue, a main road linking the east side of campus to the west, is closed for the entire season.

For the opener on Thursday, YSU parking services suggests parking in the M-30 Deck on Wick Ave. and taking a shuttle to Stambaugh Stadium. The shuttle will begin at 6 p.m. and run for 30 minutes after the game.

Here are the new lot designations:

F-80 - Formerly F-7 is the lot used for Loge Holders, Game Officials and Catering Companies just north of the stadium

M-70 Rulli Bros Tailgate Lot - Formerly M-24 is the upper lot for season tailgate pass holders only

M-63 Rulli Bros Tailgate Lot - Formerly M-7 is the lower tailgate lot that serves as the hospitality tent location, a season tailgate lot, individual tailgate lot and is the location for YSU Kids Days

M-90 Staff Lot - Formerly R-1 is where resides of the dorms, media and staff park

M-30 Deck - Formerly M-1, is the new and improved parking deck on Wick Ave.

M-60 Deck - Formerly M-3, is the Fifth Avenue deck. (Please note only one entrance and exit are available for the deck at Fifth Avenue. The Lincoln exit is closed.)

M-71 and M-72 - The lots located to the west of the YSU Softball Complex/Farmers National Bank Field

All individual game parking prices are $5. Those prices are for the M-30, M-60, M-71 and M-72 lots.
