Pair of Penguins Earn CoSIDA Academic All-District Accolades
Youngstown State senior tailback Torrian Pace and sophomore defensive tackle Steve Zaborsky were named to the Capital One Academic All-District Five football squad, the organization announced on Thursday.

Pace, who graduated in May with a degree in Criminal Justice, is a three-time Academic All-District honoree. Zaborksy, a third-year sophomore, is a first-time all-academic pick.

Pace has rushed for 196 yards on 52 carries and scored four touchdowns. In his career, he has 152 rushes for 719 yards and scored 10 touchdowns. Pace serves as the Vice President on the Youngstown State Student-Advisory Committee. He is in his first year as a grad student at YSU. He had a 3.40 GPA as a Criminal Justice undergrad.

Zaborsky has been a key member of the defense starting the last six games on the defensive line. He has played in all nine games this season and has 14 total tackles. He owns a 3.68 grade-point average as Mechanical Engineering major.
