Joey Cejudo Named MVFC Specialist of the Week
Youngstown State junior placekicker Joey Cejudo (Chino Hills, Calif.) was named the Missouri Valley Football Conference's Specialist of the Week, the league announced on Sunday.

Playing in his second career game, Cejudo was 8-of-8 on PAT attempts and converted the first field goal of his career, a 37-yard kick in the third quarter. His eight conversions tied for the fourth-most in a game in school history. In his brief career, Cejduo is 12-of-12 on PAT kicks working with long-snapper Nathan Gibbs and holder Dante Nania.

South Dakota State running back Zach Zenner (offense), UNI linebacker Jake Farley (defense) and Western Illinois quarterback Trenton Norvell (newcomer) also received weekly honors from the league on Sunday.

The Penguins (2-0) play their first road game of the season on Saturday when they take on Michigan State (2-0). Kickoff at Spartan Stadium is set for 2 p.m. and will be carried on the Big Ten Network and 570 WKBN.
