McLean Wins Title at the Horizon League Championships

McLean posted an impressive time of 24:37.43 to take first place.
The men's cross country team had three top-10 finishes including McLean, sophomore Ryan Sullivan who placed third with a time of 24:48.48 and sophomore Alan Burns who finished eighth to clock a time of 25:08.58.
Other finishers from the men include Ethan Wilson who took 11th with a time of 25:17.82, Mike Navratil finished 23rd to post a time of 25:58.83 and Jon Hutnyan clocked in right behind Navratil to take 24th with a time of 26:00.52. Aaron Benka took 31st to post a time of 26:13.23, James Nedrich took 59th with a time of 27:10.68, Michael Dahmen placed 66th with a time of 27:30.70 and Derek Morrison finished 70th to clock a time of 27:38.74.
The men's team raced against almost 100 runners and finished second just by one point behind Oakland.
Junior McKinsie Klim lead the women's team by placing 10th with a time of 22:41.27.
Other finishers for the women's side include Jennifer Muhlenkamp who took 21st with a time of 23:03.24, Melissa Klim finished 35th to post a time of 23:28.83 and Libby Rogenski placed 38th with a time of 23:35.70. Morgan Ansell finished 48th to post a time of 23:56.09, Shelby Pontera took 55th with a time of 24:13.10, Suzanna Koziol finished 60th to clock a time of 24:29.86, and Erin Pavick placed 68th with a time of 24:44.59.
The women's team finished sixth out of 10 teams and competed against 100 runners.
