Morse, who was an All-Horizon League Second-Team pick last season, averaged 20.3 points per game and had a league-best 23.3 points per contest in Horizon League games. He was also just the second sophomore in school history to earn All-Horizon League honors.
The nation's eighth-leading returning scorer, Morse has scored 710 points and needs 290 more to become the 37th player in school history to score 1,000 career points. His 608 points last season rank ninth on the YSU single-season scoring list and he became just the seventh player in school history to score at least 600 points in a season.
Morse scored at least 20 points 17 times and reached double figures in 27 games, and has a career-high 44 points against Green Bay on Jan. 9, 2016. He connected on 13-of-18 shooting, including three 3-pointers, and 15-of-17 free throws made against the Phoenix. He became the first player since 1993 to score at least 40 points, and his 15 made free throws tied a single-game record.
