Penguin News
The Youngstown State men's and women's basketball teams will once again have comprehensive coverage on radio and television throughout their 2015-16 seasons.
Gameday Radio Broadcasts
iHeartMedia is once again the radio home for both basketball programs, as well as all Youngstown State athletic events. Every men's basketball game will be broadcast on 570 WKBN with Robb Schmidt returning for his 14th season as the voice of the Penguins. Women's basketball games will be spread over the iHeartMedia network with 17 games on 570 WKBN, 10 on 1390 WNIO and two on 570wkbn.com. Jim Campbell will be the primary play-by-play voice of the YSU women at home games and select road games for the 11th straight year, and Drae Smith will be in his first season as YSU's broadcaster on the road. In addition to being broadcast over the traditional airwaves, all games on 570 WKBN and 1390 WNIO will be available on iheart.com and the iHeartRadio App.
Gameday Television Broadcasts
Through an agreement with the Horizon League and ESPN, every home game and conference road contest for both programs will be streamed live on ESPN3. The broadcasts will also be available on the Watch ESPN app. Video for non-conference road games will be dependent on the host institution. Additionally, YSU's home games will be televised locally on MyYTV on a same-day tape-delay basis. Sports anchor Chad Krispinsky returns to call the action, and Will Klucinec will join him to provide color analysis. The repeat of single home games will be shown at 10 p.m. on game nights, and men's games will precede women's games on doubleheader telecasts.
