About Detroit
• Detroit enters the game with a 12-16 overall record and 5-9 mark in the Horizon League.
• The Titans are coming off a 96-76 loss at Green Bay on Feb. 18, and have lost five of their last six games.
• Leading Detroit is Juwan Howard, Jr., with 18 points per game.
• Freshman Paris Bass is averaging 12.8 points and six rebounds per game.
The Detroit Series
• This is the 38th meeting between Youngstown State and Detroit in a series that dates back to 1953.
• The Titans own a 28-9 advantage in the all-time series and have won the last two contests.
• In the last meeting, Detroit escaped with a 93-87 overtime win at Calihan Hall on Jan. 29.
• The last time Youngstown State defeated Detroit was a 77-63 win at the Beeghly Center in 2014.

Keene Named HL Player of the Week
• Sophomore Marcus Keene was named the Horizon League Player of the Week on Feb. 16.
• Keene averaged 20.5 points per game and shot 57.7 percent (15-of-26) from the field. He connected on 57.1 percent (8-of-14) of his three-point attempts.
• It was Keene's first weekly honor and the 12th time Youngstown State has been recognized since the start of 2011-12 season.
Hain's 1,000-Point Countdown
• With 979 career points, junior Bobby Hain needs just 21 more to become the 36th YSU player to score 1,000 points in a career.
• Hain would become the seventh player to accomplish the feat under Head Coach Jerry Slocum.
• The last YSU junior to reach 1,000 points was Kendrick Perry in the 2012-13 season.
Keene Among Nation's Best in 3's
• Sophomore Marcus Keene now ranks seventh nationally with 85 3-pointers made.
• He is also 14th in the country with a 3-point field-goal percentage of .440.
• Keene is 21st nationally with 3.04 3-pointers made per game.
YSU 2K
• With 2,005 points, Youngstown State has scored at least 2,000 points in a season for the sixth straight year.
• It is also the seventh time in the last nine seasons the Penguins have scored at least 2,000 points.
Penguins Among Scoring Leaders
• Youngstown State has three of the top 19 scorers in the Horizon League.
• Sophomore Marcus Keene ranks sixth in the Horizon League with 16.1 points per game.
• Junior Bobby Hain is seventh with 15.0 points per game and senior Shawn Amiker is 19th with 11 points per game.

• Youngstown State has a great chance of winning when it makes 45 percent of its field-goal attempts.
• The Penguins are 10-3 when they shooting at least 45 percent from the field.
Keene Nearing Single-Season 3-PT Mark
• Sophomore Marcus Keene has moved into fourth place on the YSU single-season 3-pointers made chart.
• Keene has made 85 3-pointers this season and needs just nine more to tie and 10 to break the YSU single-season record of 94 set by Blake Allen in 2012-13.
• He is just the third player in school history to make at least 80 3-pointers in one season.
Uniquely Hain
• Junior Bobby Hain is in a class by himself.
• Hain is the only player in the Horizon League averaging at least 15 points (15.0 ppg), 7.4 rebounds (7.4 rpg) and shooting at least 50 percent from the field (.525).
• He is third in the league in rebounding, fourth in field-goal percentage, and is seventh in scoring.
Cole Nets 400 Assists
• With two assists against Wright State on Feb. 15, senior DJ Cole became the fifth player in school history to reach 400 assists and has 401 for his career.
• He currently ranks fifth on the all-time list and needs 56 more to move into fourth place.
• With two assists against Wright State on Jan. 8, Cole posted 100 assists this season.
• It marked the third straight year Cole has been credited with at least 100 assists.
• The last player to post 100 assists in three straight seasons was Kendrick Perry, who accomplished the feat four times from 2010-14.
