With the help of an 18-1 run, the Penguins (3-0) led 36-26 at the half and went ahead by 15 early in the second.

Eastern Kentucky (2-1) battled back and trailed only 66-64 with 3:14 to go. Perry scored five straight points to give the Penguins a 7-point lead with 1:13 left.
