Football Alumni's Annual Golf Outing a Success at Youngstown Country Club

The Youngstown State Football Alumni Group held its annual golf outing on Friday at the Youngstown Country Club and enjoyed fellowship and its traditional solid turnout.

Rain toward the end of the day kept all of the foursomes from finishing, but all six individual skill prizes were awarded. Joey Briganti won the longest drive on No. 5, and Jeff Johnston had the long drive on the 10th hole. Closest-to-the-pin honors went to Chuck Sammarone on No. 6, Dava Janofa on No. 9 and Mike Rekstis on No. 16. DeMaine Kitchen made the longest putt on the 15th green.

The event was sponsored by Ford Business Machines Inc., Huntington National Bank, ms consultants, inc., Superior Beverage Group and Taco Bell / Simrick, Inc.
