The staff will hold team camps on back-to-back weekends, July 10-12 and July 17-19. The individual skills camp will be have a half-day format from July 13-16, and the advanced skills camp will have a full-day format from July 14-16.
The team camps will emphasize competition and will cost $210 per camper. The first evening of both sessions will focus on team activities and instruction, which is a requirement by the NCAA. The Saturdays of both camp weekends will have nine-and-a-half hours of competition with breaks for lunch and dinner in between. There will be approximately six-and-a-half more hours of competition on both Sundays. More instruction time and the option to have a coach assigned to help are available.
The individual skills camp is open to all ages and genders and is designed to teach basic volleyball skills in drills and competition. The camp will have four morning sessions running from 9 a.m. to noon on July 13-16. Check in is at 8 a.m. on July 13, and the cost is $80.
The advanced skills camp is open to rising freshmen through seniors and is designed for players with varsity or club experience who would like to play volleyball at the collegiate level. It is an all-day camp with three sessions scheduled for July 14-15 and two sessions scheduled for July 16. The cost for resident campers is $260, and the cost for commuters is $210.
There are plenty of discounts available for both camps, including returners from last year's camps. A full list of discounts is available in both the team and skills camp brochures on YSUsports.com.
