Four School Records Broken At Zips Invitational

Zallow ran an outstanding time of 7.69 seconds in the 60-meter hurdles to take first and tie the fastest time currently in the country. Along with lowering his school record, Zallow also broke the Akron Stile Field House record.
Eles broke the YSU school record in the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 8.55 seconds to finish first.
Corbett improved her school record in the women's shot put with a toss of 15.22 meters to take seconds.
Neu had a toss of 21.78 meters to take first in the weight throw and improve on his school record.
In the men's 60-meter dash, Carl Zallow clocked a time of 6.89 seconds to place second and Lasander Washington took sixth with a time of 6.947 seconds.
For the women's 60-meter dash, Nina Grambling ran a time of 7.58 seconds to place second and Taylor Thompkins took fourth with a time of 7.76 seconds.
For the women's 400-meter dash, Jen Shiley placed third with to clock a time of 56.62 seconds and Keishawnna Burts took sixth with a time of 59.24 seconds.
In the distance events, Aaron Benka took fourth in the 3,000 meter run with a time of 8:56.58 and Mike Dehman placed sixth with a time of 9:03.29.
For the women's 3,000-meter run, Erin Pavick ran a time of 10:50.82 to place second.
Savannah Osborne placed first in the triple jump with a personal-best leap of 11.87 meters.
Ryan Booth took third in the shot put with a toss of 16.30 meters.
The Penguins are next in action as they host the Horizon League Championships at the WATTS on Feb. 27-28.
