Tennis Programs to Offer "Development Clinic" This Saturday

Members of the Youngstown State men's and women's tennis teams will host a "Development Clinic" for ages 5-18 this Saturday at the YSU Tennis Courts. The clinic will run from 10 a.m. to noon and 1-3 p.m.

The clinic is open to general public as well as children of YSU students, faculty and staff.

The morning session will focus more on skill development while more emphasis will be put into tactic, strategy and match play in the afternoon.

All participants will receive focused tennis instructions from knowledgeable tennis players in a fun-filled environment. There will be no more than two players for one coach on each court.

The cost is $30 per hour and all proceeds raised will benefit the Youngstown State tennis programs.

Registration is open until Friday, Oct. 4. Participants need to bring their own racquets and tennis shoes.
