Penguins Drop Contest At Tulane; Hagn Picks Up Victory

The Penguins (5-4) had their five-match winning streak snapped by the Green Wave. With the Tulane improves to 7-4 on the year. The contest featured three rain delays and both teams had to battle 25 mph winds.
Hagn won 6-3, 6-2 beating Tulane's Joe Young. At No. 1, Silviu Mistreanu dropped a hard-fought three-set match to Idan Mark. Mistreanu won the first set 6-2, but dropped the second 7-5. In the third-set super tiebreaker, Mark beat Mistreanu 10-7.
At No. 4, Felipe Rosa lost a 6-2, 7-5 decision to Alex Van Cott.
YSU coutinues its southern swing with a dual meet at Southern Miss on Monday.
