Tennis Sweeps St. Bonaventure for Fifth Straight Win

The Penguins won two of the three doubles competitions, and five of the six singles matches were won in straight sets.
Sebastian Hagn and Dawoud Kabli won 8-5 at No. 1 doubles, and Silviu Mistreanu and Felipe Rosa won 8-1 at No. 3 to give the Penguins the doubles point.
The only singles point that wasn't taken in two sets was at No. 3, where Kabli rallied to defeat Luis Guevara 2-6, 6-4, 12-10. Mistreanu beat Elliot Fanshel 7-5, 6-4 at No. 1, and Hagn defeated Oscar Yanez 6-3, 6-4 at No. 2. The Penguins cruised to wins in No. 4-6 as Rosa won 6-0, 6-1 at No. 4, Zeeshan Ismail won 6-2, 6-1 at No. 5, and Rodrigo Campos won by the same score at No. 6.
Campos, Hagn and Mistreanu won for the fifth straight match, and Rosa improved to 6-2 in dual play.
The Penguins will head south for four matches next week, starting with a contest at Tulane on Sunday at 2 p.m.
