Rumph now has 120 runs batted in and broke the record of 119 set by McKenzie Bedra from 2005-08.
The Penguins improve to 15-23 overall and St. Bonaventure moves to 10-40 overall.
In the opener, freshman Miranda Castiglione belted a three-run home run in the bottom of the first inning to key a four-run frame that put the Penguins up 4-1.
The Penguins, who collected 13 hits, added three more runs in the bottom of the fourth inning when Samantha Snodgrass blooped a single to right field and freshman Kelly Stowe ripped a two-run double to right-center field.
Stowe and Castiglione each had three hits while Snodgrass, junior Courtney Ewing, senior Sarah Gabel and junior Sarah Ingalls had two hits apiece.
Senior Hana Somogyi scattered nine hits and did not allow an earned run in the complete-game victory.
In game two, Rumph's two-run homer gave the Penguins a 2-0 lead after the first. An RBI single by Sarah Ingalls pushed the Penguins' lead to 3-0 after four before the Bonnies scored a run in the top of the fifth.
Gabel's run-scoring double to right-center field extended the Penguins lead to 4-1 at the end of six innings.
The Bonnies, though, scored six runs in the top of the seventh inning to complete the comeback win. Lauren Waite's grand slam keyed the Bonnies rally.
The Penguins close out the regular season with a three-game series at Valparaiso, May 4-5.
