The Penguins improve to 3-11 after the win over FDU.
Stowe drove in the Penguins' first three runs on a two-run home run in the top of the fourth and a single to right field in the top of the fifth for a 3-0 lead.
After FDU scored one in the bottom of the fifth, Sarah Ingalls, who had two hits, singled to center to extend the YSU lead to 5-1.
Crozier, who picked up her third win of the season, gave up just five hits and only allowed three runners past second base.
Against Army, the Penguins pounded out nine hits, but left eight runners on base and committed four errors in the loss.
Army scored in all but one inning, including four in the first inning, and the Penguins never recovered.
Junior Samantha Snodgrass went 3-for4 while senior Caroline Krombach went 2-for-4 with a run scored and drove in another.
Stowe had two doubles in three at-bats and scored once.
The Penguins visit Kent State in a doubleheader, Tuesday, March 19, at 2 p.m. at Kent, Ohio.
