Gone as well from the basketball program. Just signed with Butler CC.... Had high hopes for this kid, oh well best of luck!



Ex-Youngstown State F Kyle Steward (6-7/190) has signed with Butler CC. 1.9 ppg/1.4 rpg as FR. 14 ppg/8 rpg/3 apg as SR at Cass Tech (MI).

Could be academics. On the other hand, since he played so little this past season, could also be a case of wanting to be able to play this upcoming season, rather than transferring to another D1 school and sitting out 1 year. In any regard, yet another player with the talent level to grow into a quality player for YSU has left the program.

I wish Kyle the best as he goes forward, both on and off the basketball court.

over 625 D1 transfers this year.  Happens everywhere be it academics or not the right fit.
