1. 3rd time in 4 years. result of the last teams being added to league, schedules had to be redone in 2012.
2. uni off schedule for 2 years, just like missouri st has been  off the last 2
3. folks complained about d2 schools, folks complain about non or partial 1a schools, folks would complain if we replaced these games with bama usc and texas. reasons have been discussed and explained 100 times.
4. timing looks good to me, fine tune for league play

bissons last game, heck maybe we can knock them out of the playoffs up north in the barn.

If we get ANY kind of QB play, we should win all of our home games, Southern Illinois being the toughest game. That means 2 road wins gives you a 9-3 record. Missouri St and Illinois St will be winnable games on the road.

Like the Pitt game a few seasons ago, the Illinois game is winnable. Wouldn't be surprised if we win.

My first impression is that we will finish 7-5, winning every home game and losing every game on the road.  Missouri St. improved and actually tied us at 5-3 in the league.  Illinois St. is tough in Normal, having won all their home games (and losing all their road games.)

This is the weakest and least attractive home schedule in recent memory.  Only Southern Illinois might interest some casual fans.  Unless we can indeed knock off Illinois, I just don't see how we can draw crowds for the three junk games in September.
