Why is YSU's Penguin upside down?

how come when you watch YSU football games on tv the penguin at midfield is upside down? Should the tv camera be on the other side of the field or is the penguin just upside down? I never seen this with any other team or field. Only YSU.

Ray,

As I understand it. When field was painted they only had a upside down stencil to use and cost to produce one the right way was waaaaaaay too expensive!  :o

I bever understood why they put the penguin upside down. Maybe if the move the TV camera to the home side it will be right side up.  ;D

Why bother moving the camera all the way across the field, just turn the camera upside down and leave it where it is.
