Saw him and his family at one of the games last year (I believe it was the Wright St win). Hope he comes!

Aldridge received an offer today from Creighton (Big East).  Has also added Richmond, Lehigh, Winthrop and Princeton.

Aldridge is possibly going to end up with an ACC (Notre Dame) offer before it's all said and done.  Not to sound like a hater, but this is one of those situations where the kid is going to be able to go on to bigger better things.  Hope I'm wrong...but...5% chance maybe?

I know he also recently visited Boston College and also supposedly has Northwestern breathing down his back. I'd say our chances are slim and none.

This is a classic example of Slocum investing time and effort in case of a "rebound."  He wants a cordial relationship with this kid just in case he becomes disillusioned with the "big time" school that he starts to attend.  Good strategy, and it costs little.

Seeing Twitter reports that Aldridge has committed to Davidson.

Davidson joins the Atlantic 10 next year.

Seems like YSU wasn't in his top 5 teams anyway so who cares.

If it was Akron or Cleveland State I would feel somewhat upset, but Davidson is a good all around academic and athletic school. Peyton will do well there. Good luck Peyton!
