Power, protect yourself.  The Title IX police should be breaking down your door about now.   If you think this sucks, and it does, consider that some textbook publishers actually delete phrases from the Declaration of Independence.  Apparently, Jefferson's rant against the king of England that follows the elegant opening paragraphs offends certain groups in this disgusting "diverse" modern universe.

Fight songs are traditional.  I just can't believe that they would change it.  I will not acknowledge the politically correct version.  they will need to come and knock down my door in Savannah if they see fit .

In the traditional version the third line reads "Our boys are fighting."  Power has shown you the politically correct edition.  Now if our female athletes sing the song and want to use "team" that is fine.  But to change the lyrics for our male teams is just disgusting.

It iso generic and horrible. They should make it boys and girls. You could be rooting for the tennis team during a football game. It is horrible and wrong to have it changed.
