Not only are they loaded at RB he will sit out a year.  His buddy Ray Vinnipal will be done by the time he is eligible I think..  I think he will come here.  We actually need a good RB.  The backs we have now will not be 1,000 yard backs.  We shall see.

Even though PITT is loaded with rb's none of them are proven ecept for Shell a Bennett. even if Braylon had to sit out a year he would be able to step right in and play with shell and bumo Bennett to 3rd on the depth chart.

Since he is transferring from another school, he does not have to decide by today... This day is for high school players who are sending their letter of intent's in. He has until spring practice i believe. I remember Travis Williams came in a couple weeks before spring practice from Miami (FL) 2 years ago

He can even wait for summer-school ...which would be normal if there were any grade issues. For this type of thing, check the Bursar's office. He has to register and be accepted to the university ...prior to walking on the field, or receiving a scholarship offer.

Agreed.. I think he'd be a nice catch for YSU. If we don't get Heard I'm hoping # 25 gets as many snaps as possible to go out his SR year. Pace is an awesome kid and has a wonderful family  :)

21 signee's so far.. Looks to be a large class.

Heard played quite a bit on offense as an I back. He was in the rotation all-season. Not big enough to be an every down back, but is " big play guy" if he gets just a small opening. Hope he thinks hard about YSU.

He will have a better shot at going pro if he plays here.

Heard already sat out one football season after high school before he enrolled at Nebraska.  Wasting another year seems ill-advised, especially since he would be gambling on playing time at Pittsburgh.  He should also note that his buddy, Vinopal, lost his starting job at Pitt right after our game.  He spent the rest of the year standing on the sidelines, playing only sporadically.

Now that is funny. Stop smoking the weed. Pitt may be down but they send players to the pros every year. Including running backs.

In spite of what "Mooney Guys" will tell you----Vinopal was a reach for big-time football.  I said it when he went to Michigan and I'll say it again.  His speed basically got him the ride, other things were overlooked.
Heard's best position in my opinion is corner, obviously Nebraska thought the same--that is why he left , or so it has been reported.  Mooney and Ursuline guys are usually over-rated.  Sorry, but that's the way it seems.    BTW  what is the story on Trgovich?  Heard he left the program.
I HATE MIAMI.  WATERBOARDING IS NOT TORTURE.  ABORTION IS.

I missed a four-footer for par the other day--THAT DAMN BUSH!

Vinopal's true level as a player was MAC/FCS.  shocked when he got the ride to Michigan.
