Unless UNI stages a most improbable rally in the second half, they will fall to a 19-16 playoff record in, of course, 16 appearances.  For the supposedly elite program in our conference, that is putrid.  UNI single-handedly is responsible for the lack of proper national respect for the MVFC.  Hopefully, NDSU can salvage something this year; our turn starts new year.

As a 5 seed, UNI played to that losing at the 4 seed.  That shouldn't be a surprise.  But to get an old fashioned a$$ whipping does not reflect well on the league.  A 5 seed "should" lose a close game to a 4 seed and have a chance to win the game.  UNI didn't come close to doing that. Hopefully NDSU makes a strong showing today.

This was the best Lehigh team they have had in years ...maybe ever. That conference has really become deep, so the upper-end is much improved. Still I hope NDSU was taking it easy on them offensively.
