BTN Preview ...less than thrilling for YSU.

FCS member Youngstown State will play Michigan State at 7:30 p.m. ET Friday at Spartan Stadium in East Lansing, Michigan. BTN will be broadcasting the game. Edwin Baker is a critical part of the ground game for the Spartans. He had 207 carries for 1,201 yards and compiled 13 touchdowns last season. Kirk Cousins returns under center for Michigan State. Last season he threw for 2,825 yards and 20 touchdowns with 10 interceptions. A big part of the rushing attack for the Spartans, Le’Veon Bell ran 107 times for 605 yards and scored eight touchdowns last season.

Safety Trenton Robinson will help shut down the Penguins’ air attack. Last season he amassed four interceptions and made 71 tackles. Cornerback Johnny Adams forces quarterbacks to think twice before throwing in his direction. He had three interceptions last season and made 50 tackles.

Youngstown State of the Missouri Valley Conference is a middle of the road FCS team. The Penguins went 3-8 last season.

This game is a historic first for these two teams, as they have never played before.

Wow that's some crappy, phone-it-in journalism right there.
