I was told they plan on breaking ground in March, hoping to have it completed before winter break, but definitely by next years spring practices.

That should help recruiting next year

Originally the contract was supposed to be awarded this month, and construction begin next month. Anyone know when the trustees are meeting next?

I will personally ask Senator Harry Meshel what the timetable is since he is the trustee most vocal for its building.

Looking forward to what he has to say. On a somewhat related note, a friend mentioned to me a few weeks ago that YSU had acquired another one of the houses on Scott St.

Yes, a lot of those sad looking homes have been torn down. I'm excited about this demolition because those homes just looked bad to visitors. Maybe one day, we will see a baseball stadium on the land.

Wait...YSU has a baseball team? Yep, with a recent 1st round draft pick. Nice try at being a troll though.

I believe it will be available to all sports. They also plan on using it to host indoor high school meets.

9019...You sent me this in an email....."Just so you know I'm ignoring you and your content since I know there is a clear agenda behind your postings." Did you forget about this message. FYI... I don't have an agenda...I'm not representing Hannon at all. Yes, my name is Steven and I used to Work for the Hounds. They are long gone b/c poor ownership. I'm sorry for Hijacking this thread, but I looked at my messages and it seems like I have a lynch mob after me. I don't have a problem with Rob, it's more how the athlectic department works. That's it, 9019 let it go. I think you have to much time on your hands......
