YSU takes first-Green Bay upsets Milwaukee

YSU alone in first place at 11-3 as Milwaukee upset by 16-point underdog Green Bay(3-22) at home.

Surprised that GB beat Milwaukee last night.  GB just lost last game to last place IUPUI.   Makes no sense but that is a rivalry game between the Wisconsin schools.  So I guess anything is possible.   Good for YSU now we need to take this one game at a time.

In the last 4 games, Milwaukee has lost to Wright St, trailed NKU by 23 before coming back to win by 1, beat IUPUI by only 3 & now lost to GB.

Remember Milwaukee started off the season bad and had a stretch of games when good now they seem to gave gone backwards.   Kinda the opposite of YSU.   We must win the league this year.  MUST!!!!

We have to take care of the business in the championship tournament. I doubt very much Horizon League could get two teams into the big dance.

Looking at statistics from conference-only games, Milwaukee has a scoring margin of only +2.4 per game. We lead the league with a scoring margin of +9.1.  There is a reason why we are well ahead of them in the NCAA NET ratings. Just get the job done on the road and then play up to our abilities against Milwaukee next Thursday.

Exactly, I was just pointed out what the latest bracketology pairings were and we were worthy of a selection if we keep it up!  but must take the tourney!  Everyone knows that is a given!
