Niagara 58 YSU 53

17% from the 3 pt line and 32% over all is not going to win you a game.

Not sure there's any coheisiveness with this team at this time.   Niagara is a good team and would be at the top of the Horizon league .  watched them play against OSU and they were in that game.

Another disappointing loss.  Both teams looked tired and shot the bally poorly.  The difference in the game was the beginning when YSU literally couldn't score.  The rest of the game was pretty even, but YSU could never get over the hump.

YSU came off literally playing the best half of basketball in Coach Calhoun's era and scoring 97 against SEMO then eeked out a win against St. Thomas following by 2 bad losses at home.  On the radio broadcast, Coach told Robb Schmidt he's embarrassed and this is his lowest point.

Someone is going to have to step up on this team now that Garrett Covington is lost for the season. Even without Covington, YSU should have won both of the last 2 games.  They now have a week and a half to figure things out before a pair of Horizon League road games against Milwaukee & Green Bay.

This team seems like one of the more athletic teams YSU has had.  Prior to the season, the sentiment was this group was closer than teams in recent years.  Yesterday really didn't look like it
