Crenshaw is the real deal from what I’ve been told from people who have seen him play. Makes you wonder about the future of Waid and his ability to throw the ball. Every game he’s been in, it’s been mostly runs. Should be an interesting fall camp.

Your observation of Waid's resume at YSU is obviously correct, but he threw for 4700 YDS and 48TD's as a senior going to the state championship at Girard.  He can throw, we just don't seem to trust him yet (now maybe never) You're right about camp.  RB, highly contested, WR highly contested, DB's & OL also.  Only thing that wan't was QB, and now that might be #1! Crenshaw had to come here because promised a chance to play from day one when others said "redshirt".

Big time commit just now for the Guins.

Demeatric Crenshaw, a 6-2 dual threat QB from Pickerington Central.

Offers from BC, Cincy, Toledo, Indiana, Kentucky and Louisville.

Wow, what a great get. I cannot wait to see how this plays out.

ESPN has him ranked as a 4 star, #19 Dual threat QB.

They also list an offer from Ga Tech but don't show us as offering or accepted yet.

How did this guy end up at YSU?  After watching his highlights he is clearly the starter week 1.

Another transfer or 2 are on their way as well.

I hope an OT and an RB  We could use some experience at both!  I've been a Braxton Chapman fan, but clearly Bo isn't and I don't have much to do with ball distribution.  One thing for certain, if Braxton gets only a few carries he isn't going to help much.  Has to be work ethic or attitude, and I defer to the coaching staff to address.

I think that they were expecting that kid from Ursuline to sign, but he took an offer from Western Michigan. Is that one of those Chief?

Negative. I'm pretty sure a DB is coming in. Not sure about the rest.

It was nice to see us sign a true FB. That's a blast from the past.

I can't remember the last true FB we had off the top of my head that saw any significant reps. Deke Ison maybe?

Terrell Bailey, a 5-11 DB has transferred in from Tennessee. Had major SEC offers out of high school. Big pickup!

The FBS schools wouldn't guarantee him a chance to compete at QB, but YSU did.  Similar to how Lynn Bowden almost ended up here.

Is Crenshaw still a verbal?  Is he enrolled? If he is really serious about YSU he should be here for the spring practice.  Otherwise probably still shopping for a better offer.

Yes he is committed. All depends on his high school if he can gradate early and get here. I doubt it.

Yes he tweeted a thing about it, seems pretty darn committed
