I think he was a cancer in the locker room.  The kid has shown no allegiance to anything but himself.  No loss here.  That would be 4 schools sounds addition by subtraction to me.

Tiquest Terry, a 5-9 WR has committed to YSU. Was previously committed to Virginia. Held offers from several D1 offers.

Looks like a great late pick up.  Nice video on hudl where he showed good stop and go with acceleration.

Wonder if he is distantly related to James Terry LB from the Heacock era.  He played HS ball in Virginia too.

A couple things strike me here.  1. it is pretty easy to find the right guy on huddle with names like Tiquest Terry.
2. This kid is a "football player," not just some quick WR.  He hits as a DB!  This looks like a great pick-up
3. the only reason this guy is 1AA and not 1A is because of the 5-9  As noted by  ucfpengbuck his start-stop is going to be fun to watch.
4. Wonder who is going to throw to him?

Point #4 .... Let's hope it will not be Mays.... Otherwise, this kid's might have to block down field when Mays took off running as he could not find an open receiver (including him).

Somebody on here was talking about watching a game from last year and hopping the guys stepped up this season.  I just watched a DVR'd game that Mays stepped in to replace Hunter from 2017 and he went 17 run plays in a row, (at least 6 plays were called passes)  It was terrible.  This team isn't going anywhere so either you like Waid or Cunningham or whomever and let's get started on the future.

I was going to ask that same question a few days ago but didn't because I couldn't remember his first name--I'm pretty sure he was a linebacker and was also a very good one!

Jayden Patterson has transferred in from Western Kentucky. A 6-0 corner who redshirted as a freshman last year.

WKU is FBS so this he is eligible they season, correct?  I can't name one team, at any level of football, that has too many corners.

FYI, Jayden Patterson info:

OFFERS: The Citadel, Georgia Southern, Western Kentucky, Army, Elon & Ball State
(Army and The Citadel are good signs because they don't offer dummy's, head cases or discipline issues)
HIGH SCHOOL SCOUTING REPORT:
Patterson has good size at CB and has the frame to continue to fillout and approach the 200-pound area. He does a really good job of playing the pass and has great natural timing playing over top. The 2018 recruit has decent agility and very good technique with his backpedal. It’s obvious the cornerback has been well schooled over the last few years and this offseason he took work hard and gained an additional 10-15 pounds. One area we really like is his ability to get his head around and locate the ball mid-flight. So many young CB’s have a problem with that and Patterson consistently shows just that one film.

Why is he transferring?
I have absolutely no idea, but the usual reasons are grades, discipline issues, coaching issues, playing time issues.
