Olivia Jones Named Horizon League Women's Field Athlete of the Week

ndianapolis, Ind. - Youngstown State freshman Olivia Jones has been named the NikeŽ Women's Field Athlete of the Week for her performance at the YSU National Mid-Major Invitational, the league announced on Tuesday.

Jones won her first collegiate pentathlon on Friday afternoon while racking up 3,410 points. Her performance ranks her third all-time in school history and lands her atop of the Horizon League pentathlon standings. Jones also achieved personal-best performances in the 60m hurdles with a time of 9.19 seconds and in the 800m with a time of 2:37.44.
