Definitely experienced a letdown today after the war against Wright State.  Based upon statistics, NKU struggles to score but everything they threw up went in for three periods.  According to the video board, they were shooting 57% after the third period but then finished the game at 41%.  A tribute to the defense that we played, finally, in the last ten minutes.

Beat Cleveland State on Saturday and we finish the first half at 7-2.  CSU is another streetball team that won't be able to do much if we keep them in a half-court game.  They are also small and can't defend the post.  Cash and Dunn should dominate.  But let's not wait until the fourth period this time.

Now comes the hard part.  5 of the last 7 on the road, Green Bay one of the home games, only one dog (UIC) left.  Total commitment required for every minute of those games.

I watched some of the game and never noticed Sarah Cash on the floor.   I was thinking they were resting her.   Seems like she's been gutting it out on a bad leg all season.

Fantastic accomplishment!  Great defense after the first two minutes.  Overcame a bad shooting night from Smolinski and officials who gave Green Bay just about every close call.  Good, vocal crowd.  Any YSU fan who is free on Sunday afternoon should attend and honor these three seniors, Cash, Smolinski, and Trimmer, who have given so much to this program and this university.
