yeah they are going to play the swac champion in their own bowl game which makes sense since the meac has not only never won a playoff game but has not even been close to ever winning a playoff game

Why not, since it is minority-based, the media is all but obligated to cover it. They combine it with the battle of the bands ...which already has major sponsorship. Then the NCAA will be obligated to award the conference at least one at-large berth, so it is as if nothing ever changed. So how long do you think it will take Tennessee State to jump ship?

BTW ...we should have lost to FLAMU & I think it was NC A&T that we played in the second round, so they had to have won a game that year. Also, FLAMU lost to EKU in the title game in back-to-back seasons. I would need to to some research for the years.

I stand corrected

MEAC teams have lost 17 consecutive playoff games dating to 1999. Florida A&M recorded the league's last playoff win, over Troy State in the 1999 quarterfinals. Since 2000, seven different schools have lost a total of 16 playoff games.

Under this plan they will also be ineligible for at-large berths.  Similar to the SWAC.

Fan's right.  They out-gained the Guins that day, but threw an interception at the goal line late in the game that turned the momentum and allowed YSU to score two late TDs.  Very exciting finish.
