YSU is #24 in the Mid-Major Top 25 poll released on Tuesday. Way to go Penguins!!!!!

Here are the rankings for some teams of interest to YSU:
#2 - Green Bay
#11 - Akron
#15 - Wright State
#25 - Ohio (Looks like Bob Boldon has OU program turned around)

Fans need to realize that YSU women will not
be tested until the Pitt game. Then lookout.
The conference schedule begins...........YSU
could end up 9-19. The first part of the
schedule is sooooooooooo very weak

Great to see Barnes & Co. get some recognition. I'd put UIC above us right now, though it has a weak schedule like we do, maybe even weaker. I'm holding judgment on Ohio--one, maybe two really good players, and the rest quite inconsistent. Ohio is also benefiting from a weak early schedule and has hit a wall its last two games against better teams.

Let us see how we do tonight against the International squad, oops I mean Robert Morris.  8 out of their 12 players are foreigners, well 6 out of 12 if you don't count our Canadian cousins.  Don't have much of a read on this game.  They beat two weak teams but lost to six good teams.  Might be the best test for us to date, only because it is on the road.
