LANSING, Mi. (WKBN) – The Youngstown State bowling team is headed to the NCAA Final Four after beating Nebraska to advance out of the Lansing Region of the bracket.
The #3 overall seed YSU started off the weekend by taking down Marian (WI) and Maryville (MO) on Friday before topping the Cornhuskers to claim the regional title.
Next, they advance to the 2024 NCAA National Collegiate Women’s Bowling Championship rounds on April 12-13 at Thunderbowl Lanes in Allen Park, Michigan.
The Finals consist of a 4-team double-elimination mega-match format and a best-of-seven Baker Match Championship Final.
They will be joined by three other teams from Conference USA in the Final Four with Jacksonville State, Sam Houston State and Arkansas State all winning their regionals as well.
With the regional championship, YSU bowling continues its record-breaking campaign after putting together the best regular season in program history.
