Youngstown State junior Collin Harden will run in the semifinals of the 400m hurdles on Wednesday at the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships from Mike A. Myers Track Stadium in Austin, Texas. Harden will race in the second heat which is set to begin at 7:00 p.m. Eastern Time on ESPN 2.

Harden will run in the second of three heats in the semifinal round. The top two finishers from each heat and the two-fastest times from the remaining hurdlers will advance to Friday's Championship final at 9:57 p.m eastern time. Three runners in the second heat ran times of 49.94 seconds or faster at the recent NCAA East and West Preliminaries.

Only seven hurdlers are returning from last year's 400m hurdles field. The top returning finishers from last year's championships are Michigan's Taylor McLaughlin (4th) and Texas A&M's Infinite Tucker (8th).
