There are a few things in that chart that are highly revealing. In the revenue section, note that football generated over 632k in the category "royalties, licensing, advertisements, and sponsorships." Basketball made just under 78k there....not surprising. What is surprising is that the football total nearly doubled the revenue from football ticket sales.
There are also curious figures in the expenses section. Note the 25k figure spent on basketball "fund raising, marketing, and promotion" as opposed to only 11k for football. Note also the recruiting budgets. 117k for basketball and 87k for football.
If I am missing something here please correct me, but these figures suggest that the idea that we have a bloated football budget and a miserly basketball budget is just wrong.
