Women Lose to Valpo
« on: January 13, 2013, 01:08:00 PM »
Not good news. I do not see Valpo in the top-half of HL play. Now I did not expect YSU to be at the top, but early season results were giving me some hope, and this is a down year for UWGB. But it is still early ...so we will see.

Shocking and disgraceful.  There can be no excuses for blowing a massive lead to a very bad team in a game for which you had eight days to prepare.  Within a forty-eight hour span, the men's season ended on their first home game and now the women's season ends on their first road game.  When I left Beeghly Center at halftime of the Detroit debacle, I did not realize that would be my last visit this year.  But such is the case.  The next YSU sporting event that I attend will be either a baseball or softball game.  Neither team will be worth anything this season, but at least I expect those athletes will compete with maximum effort.

Unless, the men's team shows what there made of and take two in Wisconsin.  However, I expect the worse at this point, and am hoping for the best!
