Please cancel the season. Let's get ready for the real 2021 season. Just give the players (and institutions) an extra year. Quite trying to cram something down our throats and pocket books.

Not happy about it but I agree.

But money is what it is all about, that school in Columbus is a great example. Put the pressure on to even play, season was a joke with canceled games, only got in 5 games so they had to rewrite the rules to even allow them to play in the league championship game.

The playoffs are also a joke, so many canceled games that it is hard to really judge who the best 4 are. The kicker is that one of the 4 they picked just lost to another of the 4 by like 24 points, Sure that teams like the Bearcats love seeing that.

All about the money.

Give the athletes another free year and get back to normal in the fall.

Unless something has changed, I believe the NCAA gave an extra year of eligibility to all fall semester athletes whether they played in games or not. Of course the FCS spring season will be a meaningless farce, but let's use it to our advantage.  Phillips needs extensive practice time.  He needs to see how his players respond in game situations, even if we only play 2 or 3 contests. Having prolonged activity this winter/spring can only help us for fall 2021.

I disagree.  This is the best thing could happen to Coach P.  This is the biggest, most expansive, most competitive spring practice in the history of football.  JUST what a new coach needs.  Plenty of time to practice, actual games and nobody cares.  Perfect.  I'd start the seniors and play 3/4 with guys that are coming back in the fall (which may include some seniors?)  This is perfect for YSU!

You are right Go, but it will be a season with the same number of players injured as every other season. Only they are injured in spring/early summer. This means no time to heal. If there is a 1-wwek gap between the 3rd and 4th round of the play-off, then the season ends the first week of June. That is just under 2 months until fall camp.

To be honest, I did ignore the potential for injury, and clearly we would expect "normal" injures.  My fault, but if you don't play because of fear of injury, football is no more.
