So happy for Oakland and the Horizon League!  YSU lost two close games to Oakland, shows how good we were.

Everyday I'm losing more and more interest in college sports.  Burns...I hardly knew you. How is it possible that athletes can transfer this many times?  This system is a run-away-train that is destroying college sports.  I can accept one "free" transfer but after that an athlete needs to sit a year. Also, you can only transfer so many college credits, but I doubt if they really care about graduating.  I'm sick of all this s#+t.  Please tell me how this is making college sports better? Everyone complained about the over-reaching power of the NCAA but I for one miss them.

I've been depressed for a week now.  Did Calhoun have any type of press conference yet?  Other than the end of game comments, I haven't seen an interview or read anything in the paper.  He talked about this years team from the beginning as if they could walk on water - obviously they sank.  I want to hear from him, in his opinion, what went wrong and in the future will he sign so many 1-year and done players.  This years team really made me appreciate last years team.

I never felt confident with this years team.  I know the portal has changed everything, but there were too many one-year "rent a players" on this team.  There was no real inside game, unlike last years team.  If we were not hitting the three, we were in big trouble.  Too many poor shooting games.  Last year I thought we could play anyone in the country and not be embarrassed.  Last year's team was special. This year not so much.  But I really thought we would win the Horizon Tournament.

What an embarrasment, this team should be ashamed of itself.  All I keep hearing about is how good this team is going to be and how deep they are.  What a joke.  I expect us to be competitive, not even close.

I just looked at the starting times of the home games.  What's up with a 6:30pm start time?  7pm was perfect, no one starts games at 6:30pm.  Is there a reason for this new start time?

Horrible call, that was not a personal foul...they tried to avoid him

So much to all the negative naysayers who said we wouldn't score a touchdown!  Go Guins!!

Leaving tonight, staying at the Red Roof Inn 1.5 miles from campus.  Does anyone know if there is anything going on tonight with YSU fans getting together?

From YsuPride:  "Sounds like Thompson has a lot of baggage following him around.  Good thing we only have him for 1 year because he seems to not stick around at one place too often"

Anyone who constantly transfers this much has issues.  It seems that every time things don't go his way he looks for the easy way out and transfers. Why isn't he staying at Ten. Tech?  When the transfer portal was ok'd, I thought you could only transfer once for "free?"  After that one time you had to sit out a year.  Now I read that this has changed.  This is garbage, there is no way this guy is getting an education and most likely he is not good enough to play in the NBA, but I'm sure through the years he has been told that he is good enough.  There is no way all the classes he has taken in all his years in higher ed. will transfer.  When his eligibility is up he will have no degree.  Another reason to overhaul the transfer portal.

We should be playing a number of games against big-time competition.  Not only do you make "money" but you're also tested plus it's great for fan interest.  While we had a great year this past season, our out of conference schedule leaved a lot to be desired, with Notre Dame & Navy being the only "name teams" that we played.  I'd rather play a difficult out-of-conference schedule and lose on the road then play some of the teams we beat at home.

I hope that whatever renovations they do allow for fans who sit in the higher seats of the "high school" bleachers to actually see the scoreboard.  Wick250 is correct in his statements, we do not need Beeghly as it was originally constructed anymore (Wick you forgot to mention Cafaro Field).

I work at YSU and I pay for a discounted price for basketball games...I don't get in for free.

After this amazing and fun season, with great crowds, finally...maybe now the university brass may actually say:  "geez, maybe we actually can make a lot of money in men's basketball!"  I saw Mr. Muranski at Wednesday's game (I think he goes to many games), his seat was courtside, I will take a guess and say he will donate a large amount of money towards a new/renovated Beeghley.
