Valpo lost to Truman st.   We are in trouble.  Illinois st, Ndsu, Sdsu, and the rest of league are better than us.  See just a few wins this year unless we turn it around.  Seems like our talent is not keeping pace with rest of league

Remember Calhoun inherited one of the worst programs in division one. Especially when it comes to winning ways and losing culture. He had to put a patchwork recruiting class in when he arrived. This is going to take a few years I bet some of these players transferring were told to leave and scholarships not renewed. He has a good class coming in with all state players and a division 1 transfer that can score. Covington and Bohannon were very good freshman. I wouldn't be surprised he brings some major transfers in that can help us immediately.

Great game. I love the enthusiasm of these kids and the coach. Give the new coach sometime. We would have folded last year any game like this. It seems getting better as the season goes on as they should. We need some more big players for next year hopefully. I think next year we'll see a 16 to 18 win season. Hopefully we surprise everyone come tournament time this year though

Let's all embrace the new coaching staff. Lot of new players it's going to take some time to turn this around. He's got his work cut out for him. Schedule is very very tough on the road not many home games this year. We may take some lumps this year but upcoming years I think the program's going to be in very solid shape

What about repairs to 5th avenue?  That road is hell

Seems like a lot of growth at YSU. That area has really improved and looks so much better. Now they just need to resurface Fifth Avenue. Hopefully that's in the works before football season that road is a disaster

Bottom line is we got to coach this probably going to kick some butt here. I'm looking forward to the new season and a lot of these new players. It may take time to get us to 20 wins but I bet he does and moves on to bigger and better things. Now I will return the beeghly now that Slocum is gone. Mark my word the home schedule will get better I think it's all because of the new head coach

I believe the coach does have say so in the schedule. My son went to his basketball camp last week. He was very involved in the camp and did a lot of teaching and coaching. I wish him good luck and wise i asked him a few questions and he did say he's going to improve the schedule at home. I think he just got stuck with slocum's schedule for this coming year. But we're probably going to pay people to come here a little bit more to attract better competition

Very hard non-conference away schedule. The home schedule really stinks though. I think coach will change that in the future but this year only three non-conference games at home.
