1AA Fan.    It is very unfair to imply that the victims of this mess are actually to blame because your parents said ”80% or more were not really handicapped. People have a gross ignorance of disability. Just because someone looks OK on the outside doesn’t mean the disability doesn’t exist on the inside. Even the fat kid you talked about may be dead in 6 months from a disorder most people can’t even spell much less recognize.  I am sure a few people abuse handicapped parking but all should not be punished because of the few. These views do not offer a realistic solution but are part of the problem.

History is full of awful leaders and managers. They also need knowledge and good judgement with a strong grasp of reality.

Sitting at home watching game on TV. My wife’s and my season tickets are sitting on the dining room table. My condition is acting up today and I would never have been able to walk the 1/2 mile uphill from the “handicap “ parking the University so graciously provided us. Good game so far, would liked to have been there but YSU does not seem interested in the attendance of handicapped or elderly. Go Guins !

Spoke with a variety of university officials and no one seems to know nuthin. Admin says it's decision of events who say it's the athletic dept who in turn passes the buck to parking services. Nobody is willing to  seriously address this problem. Come on president Tressel this is no way to treat the handicapped and elderly. We are some of the teams most loyal supporters and we are being treated like dirt. It was us who were there when Dick Adipotti and the team faced Southern Connecticut, we were there when Denny Klembera faced Rodger  Staubach and now we can't get into the stadium.

Was talking to you parking supervisor who said they did away with handicap parking behind east stands so they could create tail gate lot. Meanwhile us gimps have to park on wick, take a shuttle to the front of the stadium and walk around to the east stands. I've been supporting the guins since1963. My wife and I have been season ticket holders for over 20 years. Well thanks to this pack of insensitive dolts next year we are staying home and watching the guins on tv.

A very well disciplined team that took the game seriously and really wanted the win.

This one is on the coaches the team and the fans. First game and nobody cares? Apparently the author of this question didn't ask Butler. Butler played a great game and deserved the win..congratulations Bulldogs. We on the other hand have some work to do and that includes the fan base.

I'm sure nebraska fans are saying something similar about Akron. go support your team  sometimes a couple of cupcakes give time to work on some critical issues
