ugly win. Outside of Cohill i'm not sure if anyone looked good. Every time I think YSU is going to build on a double digit lead it never materializes(all season). I watched Will Dunn at least 4 times come up to set a pick for Cohill and he never touched the defender. I didn't know you're supposed to wiff on picks.
Really hate to be negative after winning a post season game but lucky Morgan State was 0-10 from three.

6-3 175 transfer from Fairleigh Dickinson. Brandon is from Warrensville,Ohio. Led FDU in scoring at 14 pts per game but shot only .394 from the field and.296 from three for a 4-22 team.

YSU had an invite in both 2013 and 2014 under Slocum and Coach C had an invite in 2020 that was wiped out because of covid. I'm thinking their might be a shot at another.

Saw this on verbal commits. He's listed 6-8 225. Played one season at Toledo then transfered to Robert Morris. He was there for three games and left. Mattia was the 3rd go to guy on Sharon Kennedy's state championship team with Oscar Tshiebwe and Maceo Austin.

Totally blew that one but give RM credit as they're playing better basketball . Spear their big man went 10 of 11 and made 3 of 3 from behind the line. Who is guarding him !!
Two out of the last three games teams have out scored YSU at the ft line. Home court advantage ? Coach needs to start working the refs.
Love coach C but I thought he let his frustrations get to him and over subed today. Need to keep the best 5 on the court and that might mean Will Dunn needs more minutes.

They just toughed it out and out rebounded the Colonials 49 to 24. Penguins had an atrocious 26 turn overs.
Need to pass the ball to the guys in the red jerseys not the white ones. The win still counts in the W column.

Largest numerical victory in the Calhoun era. Mayes & Olison combine 1 of 10 but no problem the bench came in and produced.
Luke Chicone had 6 points and more important 8 assists. Very cerebral running the offense.
Dwayne Cohil had 18 and 11 rebounds. Looks more confident every game.
Owen Long 4-5 from the field with two 3s for 11points.
Chris Shelton was 3 of 6 for 8 points.
Akuchie 12 points on only 7 attempts.
Great team win with many minutes from the bench. Got to say the transfer portal has been good to YSU this season.

Not sure there's any coheisiveness with this team at this time. Niagara is a good team and would be at the top of the Horizon league . watched them play against OSU and they were in that game.

Buzzer beater from 35 ft. Life with out Garrett Covington who may be out for the season with an achillies injury.
YSU led the whole game but did not handle the 3 quarter press that SIUE used. 18 turnovers by YSU but give SIEU credit with their length. YSU cold from three going 5 of 17 while SIEU was 9 of 19 and they were supposedly not a good 3 pt shooting team. That was one of the games YSU needed to win on their home court.

St Thomas shot 17 of 34 from the 3 point line. Garrett Covington left the game in the 1st half withn an injury not sure what his status is. Akuche had 20. Hunter and Olison were both in in double figures. Luke Chicone was 4 of 4 and looked good running the offense,

Couldn't find a lot on Kaleb. Saw some video from his twitter page. Looks like a Garret Covington type which could be a good thing,
Not criticism of coach but I think he would love to play 5 guys that are 6-5 to 6-6.
