I think the best we can hope for is to stay within 2 scores & come home with everyone healthy,  We will be facing a good QB, one of the top receivers in the country & a good coach who doesn't like YSU.  Go Penguins!

The running game got us into the playoffs & to the championship game.

When JMU got ahead & stopped the running game we were done.

McCaster is a good back but the addition of a big power back would really solidify our running game.

Also not bashing Wells, he had a good season and showed improvement and courage.  But stop our running game and he does not have the athletic ability to take charge and win the game.

QBs - C at best.  Hunter improved a lot this year but his lack of mobility keeps him at C. 

DBs - also C at best.  With Alexander gone no real stud back there like JMU had.

The QB issue rest on Bo.  We knew we didn't have a QB going into the year.  He went out and got a transfer who was not better (maybe worse) than what we had.  What a FU.  Most teams bring in a stud transfer QB who takes over.

The QB situation does not look good.  Wells is gun shy & when the bullets start flying will throw into coverage, force throws & not run when the opportunity is there.  He hurt us bad in the IS game with his dive on the 2 yard line & not running to sustain drives against NDSU when they left big lanes open because they knew he wouldn't run.  Davis has had decision issues hopefully he has matured.  And finally I can't believe that the coaches would bring in a transfer that is going to be 3rd string behind these guys.  Nice scouting & waste of a scholarship if this is how it works out.

Davis should go to Slippery Rock to take over after Dante (who is having a great season - good for him) leaves he will be a big star there.  Well's is probably D3 material but I don't think good enough for a Mount Union not tough enough.  Definitely does not like contact.

To get a quality coach you are going to have to pay 2.5-3 times what Slocum makes.  That's not going to happen.
