At many (most successful) programs the people that donate large sums of money are interested in winning. Ours seem to be only interested in getting their name on something. And Strollo is good at giving them what they want and they love him. Until this changes we will never be competitive with top teams.

MD had a good game. Should get better with more playing time. But the opposition will now have film on him, no surprises. We should have won that game no excuses. Poor special teams play and the lack of speed on our defensive line let their QB scramble around and extend plays. We keep playing like that and it will be a long season.

The WR was Eugene Baker who played for the Falcons in NFL. Tough guy took the hit, hung on to the ball and returned to the game later. This was probably the hardest hit I have seen in person.

Our defensive line last year was terrible. Slow and not very athletic. If we are going with the same guys the weight room & extra practices cannot fix that.

Crenshaw still throwing side arm a lot. Not the best for a 6’1” QB. Not the best game scenario to show off his running skills when he was down by touch. They need to roll him out more and use some option plays. Davidson is the better passer but we don’t have the OL to protect a drop back QB. Don’t know if DL better or our OL that bad.
