So what is a preferred walk-on?

I believe Taylor is related, niece maybe, of former guin lisa rotunno

My first thought is that for any sport, get the best talent you can no matter where they are from. No matter the sport, the more you win, the easier it is to recruit.

Makes sense they would have to pay you more to admit you play for the yankees.

Of course I am happy for Justin, and proud also.

The yankees yuck, sorry to hear that. Let's all hope that he moves up to another team.

Would not be surprised if it was the largest crowd Pitt played in front of this year.

It had to happen, seems that zip football fans need a drink to get thru a game. I've seen their crowds, couple of 12 packs should do.

YSU Penguin Athletics / Re: YSU to build Soccer Stadium this summer
« on: April 26, 2012, 09:27:53 PM »
Saw an article in the Jambar that said construction will be started by early summer on a new Soccer Stadium across the street from Stambaugh Stadium. The project is budgeted for 1.88 million. Heard they are also going to build a softball stadium and a new outdoor track in the same area. Here are the two articles i found:

I am impressed, will help recruiting.

I really hate the different start times, pick 1 time and use it for all games.

So am I permitted to say

"GO BUCKS".......

also watching Robic sitting nervously on the side lines
of Kentucky.  Go John, you take more money to the
bank than I do.  Gosh, what if it is Kentucky vs. OSU.
As the saying goes John came out of leaving YSU,
falling into.....and coming out smelling like ROSES.

THAT'S LIFE

GO BUCKS

Actually - NO!

Just kidding.

YSU Penguin Athletics / Re: Dont leave the MVFC!
« on: March 27, 2012, 09:24:27 PM »
cmon guys, dont leave the MVFC!

NDSU has restored the power of the conference nationally and from here on out, 3 teams should always get in (cept UNI, they should NEVER get in).

plus, YSU stabbed the beast by 3 points last year.         Stay in the MVFC and lets kick some ass in playoffs again next year  (NDSU, YSU, ISU)

Hey you made me chuckle with that UNI comment, they have earned the title of team choke.

I am not a real big fan of the league, mostly because no natural rivals. Would rather be playing some of the teams in the MAC but they are too busy thinking that are "Big Time" programs when in fact they are much closer to a top tier 1AA league ( and that is with the extra schollys )

I should have added that all things considered it is the best option at this time for YSU football.
