GB up by 20 with 11:00 to play, All thing considered a 14 point loss to a decent team on the road with out three starters is not that bad.

Up side is that bench players are getting some great minutes.

Any word on how Brandi is?

Eargle with 7 blocks, we had 3 in about 5 seconds on 1 trip could not tell if Eargle had all three.

Nice win, starting 5 scored all the points couple of guys played the whole game.

Comparing the mac to a given conference in 1AA is one thing but to suggest that the mac would fair well against the cream of 1-AA is quite another thing. Rank the mac teams 1 thru whatever and match them against the top ranked teams in 1AA 1 thru whatever and 1AA wins the majority of the games. Easily I might add.

It would be great to play some of those schools but it ain't going to happen. They do not want more ohio schools in the league. The mac is guilty of delusions of grandeur, but they are 1A on paper only. A decent team now and then but that is it.

They do not have the deep pockets to make it worth our time to play them as a payday game. They will not trade games with 1AA so let them dream all they want and play with themselves.

Nice win by the ladies tonight, great shooting first half. cooled off in the second but lead most of the game. Brown was awesome.

Lots of changes yet to come, super conferences still being formed and when all is said and done leagues like the mac will be left in a vacuum. Any ones guess what will happen but it sure would be nice to play the other OH schools, home and home of course.

If the MAC wants only home games, they had better be prepared to pay out like a BCS conference. I think the university does have the for site in more than just basketball. We are not building new facilities to satisfy a league we are already a member of.

So you think we are planning to move to 1A

I agree about the scoreboard also, maybe Covelli would pitch in. I have watched some other league games this year - Detroit @ Green Bay - was one and their house looks nicer than our house. Beeghly opened while I was a student and while that look was nice 40 years ago, it is time for a facelift.

Does anyone else think that it is time for the bleachers to go? Maybe keep the ones behind the baskets but the rest need to go. Looks like high school stuff. Can't believe that we need the floor space anymore. Redo both sides with chair backs the whole way up. Sure we will lose some capacity but so what, we never sell out anyway.

The men are better than they play, no killer instinct (sp), At times the same as the FB team need to get bad azz and put people away, get em down and kick em around. We let too many teams come back. Girls are awesome, they have come a long way in 3 years.
