"It's a new reality in college basketball and we all need to get used to any decent player that develops at YSU will look to the open market when the season concludes."

Money is ruining college sports, change is not always for the better.

I guess that even if he is in the portal he can always stay if he changes his mind. Either way I wish him the best

The Horizon gets no respect,  I watched Duquesne win yesterday wonder if that league would be a good fit for an upgrade. If Dayton still in would be a good rival

Does the league deserve more respect? How many signature wins did the league get this year?

Interesting that her record of 71-67 is the best ever at Akron.

First I wish her nothing but the best.

WKBN states that she previously served as head coach at the University of Akron, where she led the Zips to a pair of postseason appearances and the best winning percentage in program history. So why did she leave Akron?

We just do not know enough about what happened. Did what cause Barnes to step down affect the play of the team for a while? I think that we have more talent then the record shows. None of my business what happend but I trust that the folks that do know will make the right call

Fans behind the hoop is what I meant to say.

I recall when there were floor seats behind the hoop. Cliff Stoudt would sit there.

As I understand it, the new seats will still be roll back like the current seats. The lower level will have arm rests and cup holders. The upper seats will be chair back, but no arm rests or cup holders. Seats will be larger and more space in front for leg room.

Too bad they didn't provide more leg room in the football chairbacks.

I agree on the football chairbacks, couple of years ago when they were adding on to the east side we had to sit on the west side and they gave us chairbacks. I am not that tall but there was just not that much room, very uncomfortable.

They could not be so stupid as to replace the bleachers only on the east side! Could they!

the article does address this concern of yours

YSU will replace the upper and lower seats on both sides of the Beeghly Center with new red seatbacks.
