I understand that Derek Rivers sister was playing. I assume that the team is already in Ind.

tOSU took Whisky to the woodshed 59-0 in the BIG title game in December 2014, and the College Football Playoff selection committee was so impressed that tOSU was selected to enter the playoffs.
I believe that if YSU similarly wallops the Trees, the effort will be noticed by the FCS ADs comprising the selection committee. YSU would be the fifth MVFC team selected, with the same # of at-large invitations as last year (ISUb was invited with a 4-4/7-5 record).
A long shot, but possible nonetheless.
Years ago I took a teacher workshop in which a topic was managing class discussions. A strategy disucssed was that rather than responding to stupid comments, ignore them and allow them to sink of their own weight. I found that over the years to be very effective. It seems that it would work here. Many people, whether some of the YSU people or from other places are being outrageous or provacative to seek attention. By reponding in kind they are given what they want.
NDSU and YSU are the same thing ... a sub-division team that major media could care less about. Deal with it ...127 other teams do.
Anybody sit in section 4 and see the Bison fan in about row 10 standing up drinking a beer right before kickoff? After the start of the game people started yelling for him and his girlfriend and /or sister to sit down because they were obstructing some people's view but instead he just turned around facing everybody behind him fanning his open arms just to taunt them. There were more Bison fans in the first or second row standing in front of some little kids who actually had to move just to watch the game.
What's up with the standing? Are they taught that on the prairie to be rude? You can tell by their attitudes they thought the game would be over by the middle of the first quarter......
13,000 open seats. If it annoyd them that much they could have move 10 seats in any direction.
Yea that makes sense, I am sitting in my seats and because some disrespectful drunk is being a jerk, I should be the one to move.
Do you bison fans even think before you respond, just more proof that your fans are no better or worse then others. Albeit a lot more arrogant.
Ok lets break this down.
Options:
1. Move and end the problem.
2. Sit there and put up with it.
3. Kick his a$$.
4. Have him removed by security.
5. Do nothing then go on the forums and complain about it.
Which option(s) seem to be the logical one(s)?
Yet option 5 was somehow the decision that was made.
very entertaining game, cant wait to see the meltdown bo has with 20,000 fans 5 feet from him on the sidelines next year at the fargodome.
Actually I am told that NDSU has some classy fans, I am sure they will be respectful and not be the kind of fans we have been labeled as.
I guess we will see just how classy they really are.
Please flag this as a reminder for 11/5/2016 so we can discuss.

You certainly didn't attempt to dispell it. And its on every message board you are on too.

Every team has a few of those fans that take some things a little to far, NDSU is included. It is the level in which it goes that is the difference.I used to live in a suburb of MSP for almost 10 years. There is a HUGE cultural difference (and not in a good way) to any other place I've lived, and I've moved around a lot.I guess all you want to talk smack about fans at the game, OK, YSU how bad do your fans have to be in order to scare the officials enough that they need to contact the police and make sure that they have an escort out, due to the things being said to them. And these are guys that get yelled at all the time by fans, so what made your fans so bad that they were over the top to the officials. Maybe it was the guy yelling "your not going to make it home tonight". So don't talk about a few fans from NDSU saying F words when most of you give a pass to your coach dropping F bombs like crazy at officials. By the way, that stuff is not hearsay, it is caught on TV, it can be proven.
One example comes to mind. I used to go to Wild games, and stopped because I got tired of hearing the "F" word constantly. I'd fly to Ytown and go to SteelHounds games.....never head the F word once.
Does this apply to neighboring ND? Maybe. Maybe not.
Tenn, if you think that YSU fans are any better or worse then fans from ndsu uni james madison or fill in the blank, you are clueless. Dude please please please get a life.
Better yet, why don't you show us some actual proof that our fan base isn't better. The incident with the YSU fans and the officials is not just one fan, it isn't even just a handful, it would be many more. I am searching to find any time that officials needed to be escorted from a NDSU game, but can't seem to find one. I also can't find anything under NDSU coach meltdown.
