I read that article yesterday and honestly saying it's getting my hopes up. They have to work on his passing game, that's quite obvious, but I'm liking what I read.

« on: January 01, 2016, 12:08:03 PM »Not to much to report on the recruiting front. Quarterback Trent Hosick did pick up his second offer from Charleston Southern. CSU enjoyed their best season ever and lost in the quarterfinals to Jacksonville St.
Just a quick fact:
I see the Charleston Southern football stadium (Buccaneer Field) has a seating capacity of 4,000. That's equivalent to our D3 and/or D4 high school stadiums in the Valley. I'm not knocking CSU for this, just throwing out some numbers.

Unlike our current QB who fell in front of the goal line agains Ill. State and is a 0 threat to run the ball. We need to land this kid...

« on: November 17, 2015, 03:07:50 PM »BTW, Wolf never had a recruiting visit as large as I saw Saturday & the letter-man's jackets were from good programs ...especially PA. That was the largest since early 2000's, when we were living off of being the former home of Jim Tressel. This is clearly because of Bo Pelini & you are fooling yourself to think it is anything else. Although I am sure that having JT as a new president does not go unnoticed by these kids and their parents.
I saw 3 or 4 from Pickerington, Ohio in the concession area and a bunch of locals (Mooney and Hubbard sitting together).

Anybody sit in section 4 and see the Bison fan in about row 10 standing up drinking a beer right before kickoff? After the start of the game people started yelling for him and his girlfriend and /or sister to sit down because they were obstructing some people's view but instead he just turned around facing everybody behind him fanning his open arms just to taunt them. There were more Bison fans in the first or second row standing in front of some little kids who actually had to move just to watch the game.
What's up with the standing? Are they taught that on the prairie to be rude? You can tell by their attitudes they thought the game would be over by the middle of the first quarter......

« on: September 15, 2015, 01:00:27 PM »I like the idea because it looks like a D6 little dinky press box over there right now but I would first like them to add more seating on that side. I understand, with our low attendance that has to improve but it just looks so mismatched with the west side seating so many.
The idea last year was to just enlarge the eastside broadcast booth from two small ones to one larger one, I do like this new concept much better by making it a lot bigger to accommodate both television and the press. That might help with your mismatch problem ysufan0505.
Myself, I'd rather see additional seating in the north end zone if it would ever happen, it would make the Ice Castle feel and look more enclosed.

« on: June 12, 2015, 05:01:01 PM »Not sure how ticket sales are going, but they are a month ahead of schedule ..as compared to previous seasons; so I expect Bo has really drawn interest. There will be a new person in-charge of tickets this year ...Eric McLellan is replacing Ashley Booth ...who is moving on. Maybe I will send Eric and email.
This is the first year (in 33 years) I have received a thank you note sent to me in the mail for renewing my season tickets.
That was a nice touch, it showed appreciation.

I read awhile back that the east side press box upgrade was part of the new stadium light package for better broadcasting.
I guess it's not really a press box but a camera and broadcasting booth. The way I took it, they were going to replace the two small ones with one big one.
