The bullsh** part of the schedule is over.  Its all about the W's now and who are our leaders on this team.!!! Coach's players all have their roles and need to be held accountable to get the job done...Its get to November and if We win in November we get the prize.  I want to see intensity, passion and No "I" in team.  I want us to protect our 'HOUSE" and when teams play us they no that they are getting out hustled, physically getting beat up" and they know we have good football   iQ's.  Go Penguins!!!!  Thoughts!!!

I think she hit the nail on the head!!!

Do you really expect the coaches to call plays to show their hand for Games that will matter?
If so...I'd really be worried.  A piece if cake, is a piece of cake.  Next week will be a different story.
No piece of cake.

No panic button yet.  If we are going to make the play offs we will need to win in November.  For whatever reason it seems the Pitt game and the North Dakota game messed this team pysche.  I was actually surprised with the crowd turnout. As for Hess he will come around.  The secondary still is a weakness and with no pass rush it will be exploited.  on offense we forgot about using te.

Anything less than scoring 50 on them would be a disappointment! :-)

LOL, so not a believable story.  So were the Girard charges dropped too or is there another family member pretending to be him! :-)

Does making the playoffs get him another contract.

Peterman needs to go.  A man shows up and faces the music and takes responsibility for his actions.  He is a coward and basically sneaked around to avoid the law and it seems that the coaches either covered this up or didn't follow up. (I can see if it was once, but what 3 times}   I am disappointed in Peterman, Wolford and YSU football.

How did he not attend Massillon? Massillon lets few players who are great, slip through their fingers.

Massillon doesn't get them all.  AS a Fairless Alum, I say YSU might have found a sleeper.  Maybe this will be the next Mark Brungard!!!

Great pick up. Can't get enough D1 Parochial kids. Discipline, big time competition, less chance of issues.

Really less issues!!!! I am not gonna bite on that comment!!!

if we are still depending on #8 its going to be a long season.   I know he is a local guy, he is undersized and a step slow to be a starting cb or safety.  He is a nickel or dime guy at best.  Every team game planned to exploit him.

YSU Penguin Athletics / What happened to the students?
« on: March 31, 2013, 08:27:03 PM »
Was it me or did the student body decide that basketball games aren't worth the time.  The three games i attended there were very few in attendance.

the team we have was a 500 team.  We have no true post guys and physically you can see our players are a tad thinner etc.  We have made progress, on like I said before on a dollar general budget.  Does Slocum have flaws yes...but he has turned us around to be respectable and that's a start
